What is your turn around time? It's about 5-10 days. Normally 5 days and we do offer some
expedited services, call for details. Express shipments are available at additional costs.
Should I dissemble my parts before there sent? YES. We coat the parts as we receive them,
so if they arrive assembled, they'll get coated that way. With slip on collectors we recommend you take them off.
Can you mask off certain areas? YES! We need you to mask the parts before they come in so
we know exactly what needs to be done. Also, include a note such as "Do not coat masked area". Keep in mine there are some limitations on masking, for example, the inside of pipe is either all coated, or entirely not coated. Generally we are asked to mask slip joints and stainless tips.
Can you coat aluminum? YES! So long as it is thick. Intakes are no problem and most valve covers
are fine if they have been cast in the last 15-20 yrs. We do not do 60's vintage covers such as the ones off of a Corvette, they'll warp. Keep in mine we cure the coatings at 650F for about an hour.
What other parts can you coat? As long as the part will survive the blasting and curing and is made of
metal, stainless steel, iron, or thick aluminum we can coat it. We have coated rear end housings, control arms, timing covers......etc |
